About the Course
Discover the creative possibilities of clay in our Handbuilding Clay Experience, a hands-on workshop where you will learn how to shape pottery using simple tools and traditional handbuilding techniques — no pottery wheel required.
During this session, our instructor will guide you through fundamental methods such as pinch pots, coil building, and slab construction. These techniques allow you to create a variety of ceramic pieces, including bowls, cups, plates, candle holders, or small sculptural forms.
With more time to explore and experiment, this extended class gives you the opportunity to develop your design, refine details, and add textures or decorative elements to your work.
After the class, your piece will remain at the studio to dry, glaze, and kiln-fire. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 2–3 weeks.
This class is perfect for beginners as well as anyone looking for a relaxing and creative clay experience.
