Discover the joy of working with clay in our Pottery Wheel Experience, a beginner-friendly class designed for anyone curious about wheel throwing. In this hands-on session, you will learn the essential techniques of pottery while creating your own unique ceramic piece.

Our instructor will guide you step by step through the pottery process, including centering the clay, opening the form, pulling the walls, and shaping your vessel. Whether you choose to create a cup, bowl, or small vase, you will experience the relaxing rhythm of the pottery wheel and the satisfaction of shaping clay with your own hands.

For students interested in making mugs or handled cups, the class will also introduce the basics of handle design and attachment. You’ll learn how to pull and shape a handle and how to properly attach it to your piece for both function and balance.

This class focuses on exploration and creativity rather than perfection, making it perfect for beginners and anyone looking for a relaxing creative experience.

After the class, your piece will remain at the studio for drying, glazing, and kiln firing. Your finished ceramic work will be ready for pickup in approximately 2–3 weeks.
